Meet Nora Parella
For more than a decade, I’ve worked at the highest levels of California education policy, turning legislation into real programs that work for students. Now, I'm bringing that structural expertise home to Roseville. My goal is to make sure our schools work for every kid, especially those who are too often overlooked.

I am running to represent Area 1 on the Placer County Board of Education. Unlike local school boards that manage neighborhood schools, this countywide board oversees specialized programs for our most vulnerable learners - including special education, court schools, and independent study. I believe that when we deliver results for the students who need the most support, our entire community benefits.
